About the role

The Digital Analytics Consultant is a key role in the organisation, who takes ownership of our client’s digital analytics platforms and provides consultative services to improve their implementation to help meet our client’s business objectives. This role requires a technical knowledge and understanding of the configuration and deployment of Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics, with the ability to audit and troubleshoot these deployments. This role will work with senior managers within customer organisations to advise on best practice, develop and actively manage programme delivery and build long term consulting relationships for Jarmany. The role will be supported by the Jarmany Directors and, depending on the programme, engage with small teams of data analysts, consultants and senior associates with specialist skills.

Key responsibilities tasks:

  • Technical owner for both GA360 and Adobe Analytics tools, along with the associated Tag Manager
  • Working with Jarmany’s clients to ensure that their web analytics tools are optimised to meet demands
  • Develop, with the help of a small team, a suite of insight led dashboards / reports within both GA360 and Adobe Analytics for Enterprise level clients
  • Liaising with client teams to understand and refine implementation requirements
  • Ensure programmes are delivered on spec, on time and to budget
  • Identify programme challenges and opportunities and escalate as necessary
  • Develop and present compelling recommendations when required
  • Identify Jarmany capability improvement requirements


An analytical graduate, ideally with a 2:1 degree or higher. You must have a positive outlook, be self-driven and results orientated.  You will need to be happy to engage with all levels of management and have the confidence to challenge strategic direction or tactical approaches based on sound logic and previous experiences.  This is a specialist role and you will need to have a good understanding of how business works cross functionally, with previous experience on FTSE100 graduate programmes or in established digital analytics roles. You will also possess a passion for learning as there will be opportunity to cross train on other Digital and Marketing technologies.

Qualification and experience

  • Google Analytics (360 preferably) and Adobe Analytics
  • Auditing and troubleshooting data layer
  • Implementing and troubleshooting tags in both DTM and GTM
  •  HTML / CSS / JavaScript
  • Google Data Studio
  • Google Big Query experience would be beneficial
